The Wiseman is a miniature by Davlat Toshev. It is painted in tempera, watercolour paints with gold leaf on 90 years old Bukhara silk paper. This artwork was inspired by Sahih Al-Bukhari's 1409 hadith. Hadith: Narrated by Ibn `Abbas: “I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, “There is no envy except in two: a person who God has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (ie religious knowledge) and he gives His decisions accordingly and teaches it to the others.”
